Medisch Spectrum Twente

Medical spectrum Twente is an intergrated company specialised in the medical field with mainly focussed on improving the health of the poeple living in the Twente region. Medical spectrum Twente is one of the largest non-academic hospitals in The Netherlands. De Ploeg has designed special separation curtains names Separa and Dividus. Below you will find more information on these unique products.

DESIGN

The quality Separa is an original Dutch design, product of the de Ploeg design team, and has been specially designed as a separation curtain. This curtain can be washed repeatedly over the years without any problem (also minimal shrinkage). This quality has more than proven itself in various large hospitals over more than 10 years. A large part of the material which was woven over 15 years ago is currently still in use.Based on the same specification as the Separa, we later added the quality Dividus.Dividus has its own design and the various colour mixes can be easily matched to the mostly already fixed floor and wall colours per ward.

REFERENCES

Generally over 10 years of easy use in many hospitals (f.i. AMC Amsterdam, OLVG Amsterdam, De Gelderse Vallei Ede Hospital, Medical Spectrum Twente, Medical Centre Leeuwarden, Haven Hospital Rotterdam, Isala Clinics Zwolle)

SPECIFICATIONS

Excellent, qualities such as quick cleaning (also at low temperatures), fast drying, hard wearing, very good light fastness and friction resistance due to yarn dying and a full 5 year warrantee. The specified type of Trevira CS fibre is finer and gives a better feel than other (Trevira CS) fibres. The easy washing qualities (at many temperatures) therefore make the material more resistant to the transfer of bacteria. The fabric is tightly woven at 315 grams per running meter giving the patient optimal privacy.

FLAME RETARDANT AND OEKOTEX 100 CERTIFICATION

Permanent flame retardation, TNO tested and Oekotex 100 certified.

YARN AND PRODUCTION

The Trevira CS braded yarn is produced in Europe. Both fabrics qualities are woven in the EU.
