Exceptional lightfastness through solution-dyed acrylic

What sets Audo apart is its oustanding colour- and UV resistance. The fabric is made from solution-dyed acrylic yarns, a technique in which colour pigments are added during fibre formation rather than applied afterwards.

As a result the colour is full embedded  in the core of the fibre, the fabric remains permanently colourfast and discolouration caused by sunlight is significantly reduced.

This results in a curtain fabric with very high lightfastness, making Audo ideal for spaces exposed to intense daylight, such as conservatories, large windows and south-facing interiors.

From fibre to fabric: the yarn behind Audo

The production process of Audo begins at fibre level. With solution-dyed acrylic, colourants are added to the liquid acrylic solution, after which the fibres are formed, spun into yarns and finally woven into a high-quality inbetween curtain fabric.
