De Ploeg printoptions

De Ploeg Printoptions makes it possible to add a unique, personal touch to curtains. Alongside creating a lovely atmosphere, curtains also play a role when it comes to a cosy living or working environment. De Ploeg offers the option of custom printed curtain fabrics made from fire-retardant polyester with a natural touch that meet the strictest international standards for public buildings.

Your personal image

De Ploeg can transform your image, illustration, text or pattern into a customised curtain fabric that meets your wishes and requirements, including acoustic properties, insulation, blackout or translucent.

Files

Pixel files (such as photos and sometimes illustrations) consist of countless small squares or ‘pixels’, each with their own unique colour. When displayed on a massive scale and small enough, these pixels form a smooth image. The downside with pixels is that the image may become grainy when enlarged.

Vector files are built using mathematical formulae that capture points or ‘vectors’ on a grid and define the lines between them. Vector elements can be scaled infinitely, without loss of sharpness and quality. Logos, icons and other types of line drawings are often created as vector graphics.

Some files contain both pixel and vector elements, such as in the case of a combination of text and illustration.  If you are working with fonts, add them as separate files to the delivery package or make sure they have been converted to graphics within the image file.

Our graphics specialists provide information, advice and support when it comes to transforming your ideas into tailor-made curtain fabrics.

Colour profiles

De Ploeg works using the CMYK colour system. Other colour profiles are converted to CMYK for printing. Please keep in mind that this may result in minor colour variations.

Your cutrain fabric

De Ploeg Printoptions offers nine different fabrics with a wide range of functional properties. This includes dense and open fabrics, opaque and transparent options, and matt and shiny yarns, varying from Tana Recycle, a recycled transparent curtain fabric with a natural look to the Goodnight blackout curtain fabric.

Flame retardant

A unique feature of the printable De Ploeg curtain fabrics, both in terms of optics and touch – is the natural look. Developed with flame-retardant polyester, they meet strict international standards for public buildings. The flame retardant properties are integrated into the yarn itself, which means the flame retardant property is permanently present in our fabrics, without additional treatments. Flame retardant test certificates are available on request.

Room-height (tilted)

Printoptions curtains are 300 cm or greater in width and feature a printable width of between 290 and 300 cm. If the room is higher, in many cases the fabric can be applied tilted 90 degrees. Contact our professionals for advice and information.

Maintenance

De Ploeg Printoptions curtain fabrics can be washed at a minimum of 60°C in order to kill bacteria, viruses and dust mites.

OEKO-TEX ®

The globally certified OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 system ensures that each part of a product undergoes testing for the presence of damaging materials. Textiles with the STANDARD 100-label are 100% certified and do not have any negative impact on human health. All Printoptions curtain fabrics are Oekotex certified.
